I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Kev drew local big stick Marcel Veenstra for day 1.  Thats good for Kev in more ways than one.  Not only is Marcel a great fisherman, espeically on the Great lakes system, but he and Kev are pals.  Thats will help take a lot of the pressure off and they can go relaxed with each other and concentrate on KILLING THE PIGGIES!

I have a really good feeling about Kev in this event.  He is super focused and his drop shot skills are fine tuned to the T.  And he has the most dangerous weapon known to a bass fisherman................. Confindence!

Im planning a big party for the K Dawger at Hooters when he wins.  Your all invited.

McCarter himself :-\'

Kev's only about 6 pounds or so out of the top 10...here he is weighing in...

I'm having a good time reading these stats!  Look like Kevin got a good draw for day 2:  KATSUTOSHI FURUSAWA, who brought in 19lbs today.

Good luck Kevin!

The Observer and Eccentric is a local (to here) paper.  It has versions for the different local cites (although I'm sure most of the content is the same).

Thanks for all of the kind words and encouragement to all my freinds here at GLBass.com. When ever I got kinda down during the tournament I thought about how many people were wishing they were sitting were I was and it made me fish harder. Watch for my practise and tournament write up in the next few days.

I think that picture put about 5lbs on me. I really only weigh 280. That photo makes me look at least 285.

You can blame that on my camera lens... I call it the 'giant among men' angle and pose!!!
