Hi Guys,

I have a trolling motor that has been collecting dust and I guess I'll try to free up some space in the basement so if anyone is in the market for a trolling motor at a cheap price this is what I have:

It is a long shaft Motor Guide Energy 67lb thrust 24/12 volt (can be used either way by throwing a selector switch). I bought it new in 2000 and used it for 4 years and then stored it when I bought a new rig in 2004. I have used it a couple times as a backup on my Ranger 18' fiberglass boat but it is best suited for an aluminum v-bottom rig like a Lund, Crestliner or Lowe style boat. I think I paid $400 new and want $100 for it. Last time I used it, last summer when my new one died, it worked great. It has some scratches and scuffs as seen in the pictures and the skeg is broke off but the unit still trolls great. You will also have to install a connector to plug into whatever type connector you use on your boat. You would also have to pick it and I live on Grosse Ile.
