Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

SODY

The 2nd tournament of the 2007 season for Fishers of Men Tournament in the SW Michigan Division was held at beautiful Paw Paw Lake. We had a total of 3 teams participating. Several of our members were sick or hurt so keep us in your prayers.

The Friday night pre-tournament meeting was held at South Haven Church of the Nazarene. We had 10 in attendance. What a wonderful place to have a Fishers of Men meeting. The food was very good! After the meal the Pastor Scott Hollebrands shared a wonderful message from the Word of God. Everyone in attendance expressed that they attend Church regularly and the message about staying connected to God in prayer was a good one, pastor also spoke briefly from Jimmy Houston's devotional book.  Praise God! I want to thank the people and Pastor of South Haven Church of the Nazarene for hosting our meeting we could not do what we do without friends like you.

The tournament was on a great weather day, just perfect. It was mild on Saturday morning as the 3 teams got ready for take off. The water temperature was high and at daylight the fishing was good for most all the teams. As usual someone found the big sack with first place coming in at 15.01 pounds.

Now the real story, young Mr.Philip Holwerda (As he is forever from this day forward to be known as) decided to fish alone. His dad could not make it. Well he schooled us in what a nice sack looks like, with a MONSTER 6.24lbs large mouth on a Buzz bait This team obviously also had big fish for the day at 6.24 pounds. Way to go my friend , you should be proud we are!! Philip had a little trouble with his Key's being locked in the Durango but a wrecker call helped calm his nerves. Nothing could wipe the smile off all our faces for this fine fish!!

1st Place at  15.01 pounds – Holwerda/Holwerda 1st Big Bass
2nd Place at 14.04 pounds - Norris / Harris 2nd Big Bass (Points Leaders) Solar Bat Winners
3rd Place at  6.41 pounds – Shafer/Jamerson Tackle Pack Winners

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fine companies that make Fishers of Men possible; Triton Boats, Mercury, Shakespeare, All Star Rods, Pflueger, Strike King Lure Company, XTools, Solar Bat, Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, Keelshield, MotorGuide, SOSPENDERS,Marshall's Marine Lake City SC, Kistler, All-Terrain Tackle, Dual Pro Charger, Lowrance, Buckeye Lures, Stanley Jigs, Deka Marine Master Batteries, Spike-It, Jacobs Glass, Hooah Energy Bars, Poor Boys Baits, T&H Marine BASS Rx, and Keep Alive.

Don't forget the end of year Jackets and points Payout.
This series is wide open and the season in no way has been decided, so stop out to the Grand River and Fish #3.
