Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Did anyone else see that Aaron martin left Megabass and now is sponsored by Enigma rods

Going from a 700 buck Magabass rod to a Enigma with the micro wave guides would seem to be going backwards

The rods can be pre ordered

Doesn't matter he will still Whine about everything.

It has been interesting reading the blogs on this matter. People are judging him for leaving. We have no idea what happened between the two parties! Winny Aaron or not, he finds his own fish and I respect that.

Its a business decision he made.   He is a great fishermen and I watch his techniques.  Like a couple other pros i watch with the sound muted.

TimH

It is truly a business decision that I'm sure will become more clear as time moves on.  I think having the design and development ability is what really caused him to switch, but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that he is "silent partner" with this company.  Having read about and watched numerous things about Aaron, I think the design aspect is very important to him.  He is so particular about everything, that his control of the design process probably played into his controlling nature.
Either way, he is one great angler who has abilities that others can't match.

Team houston

All of that, plus making LOTS more money. Backwards??

It was just announced that he signed up with Monster Fishing Tackle too. They are already selling the Enigma Rods  I'm sure he'll recover on the sponsor support.
He does whine a bit (or a lot) but what I like is because he is so vocal, you learn from how that mind is working and it is going 100 miles and hour all the time. After spending virtual time in his boat through MLF, you now know why everyone always talks about how anal he is when it comes to organization and tackle.
I couldn't believe his comments about "hating the dropshot, why does it have to be so darn productive" - I always thought that was his go to technique, but apparently he only goes there if he has to.

Ya I thought Aaron liked the DS too..

Jefferson

I think he gets more of a kick out of finding the fish on his electronics and that forces him to use the drop shot when he's right on top of them.

djkimmel

He spends a great deal of time finding fish before he fishes for any from what I've seen. He isn't a big drop shot fan. He uses whatever is best to catch the bass that he is fishing at the moment. I don't think he whines. I think he thinks out loud.

Imagine if every (most) thought in your brain came out of your mouth what that would sound like?? For many of us, it would sound like Aaron Martens... and catch more bass.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
