Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was wondering if anyone has made a goby head tube mold like the Bite Me Big Dude model???  I'm guessing they have some sort of patent on the design because I can't find one anywhere.... I'm also looking for a tube head mold with a 60 degree FLAT eye... I know Do-it Molds makes a 60 degree straight eye, but I'd really like to get a flat eye mold.

Thanks everyone!

It would be fairly simple to modify an existing mold to produce that style of jighead.  Both Mudhole and Jann's Netcraft have a bunch of jig molds that use the 60 degree eye.  The football jig molds could be machined out with a drill and finished to your design with a chisel or a Dremel.  There are others that might work as well.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Very nice. I did the same thing a few years back with a ball head mold. The only thing I still have not been able to find is the 3/0 Gamakatsu Sprout style jig hook the Big Dudes come with.

Hooks can make a big difference in how successful a custom job ends up working. I have some that hook well and some that don't seem to hook so well.

Hook size is a huge factor... As well as hook angle of the point.

Those look great.  After my last trip up north I learned how effective cracking big tubes are but I lost too many of them.  Which mold did you use for those tube jigs?  Did you use the same size hook for each weight?  After using them for a couple years have you perfected anything with them?  Thanks for any info.
