Well, when your new motor comes we'll talk about that "old" motor of yours.  That is as long as you can PROVE it can be tightened up a bit....

I think I know why we were running 500 rpm more than usual, but running 6 mph slower.  Must be a keelshield no longer properly attached causes some drag.

I was careful beaching last night, though.  Didn't want to have to use that 1st place and big bass money on repairs.
