Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Hey guy's, I really appreciate the offers, you have no idea, but I live 45 minutes south of Toledo. I used to out of Alganac every year Labor Day but that has been a couple years. I found a sponser that paid all my entries into the BFL up there this year, and my parents said they would help with expenses and the wife for that one day so I'll be doing that. Again, thank-you! It really means alot that you would volunteer that.

Well if ya ever want to make a weekend of it, our club fishes St. Clair again soon and often.  You would be more than welcome to stay at our place or camp in our yard and fish with us on a Saturday.  Keep it in mind.  All you have to do is pick a weekend.  Consider it a mini vacation on the Eastside Bass Anglers!  The offer is good (and sincere) anytime.

I looked up refined petroleum (finished gas) and according to the US Energy Information Administration, we went from 9300K barrels / week down to 8500K barrels/ per week. Refineries (2 of 56) shut down for maintenence in CA, 2 more in LA and I think 1 more somewhere else. They were down 3 consecutive weeks. Qatar's Oil minister issued a statement that Light Sweet Crude will fall skightly and OPEC output will remain steady (i.e - It isnt any other countries fault except your good old USA's infrastructure). Anyway it works out to a 10% decrease in US refinery output, and if you follow ol' supply and demand, you get the "rocket up feather down effect". Prices will jump way high and feather back down to $2.98 beginningAFTER the holiday. How convenient.  :'(

Oh and by the way you'll love this: About 20% of US refinery is isolated to Mexico because we refine 100% of the oil pulled out the gulf and their country and sell it back to them at a whopper profit. They were paying $4.50 / gal back when we paid $2.35.

Last question: Anyone have an idea why gas prices fell last September and last QTR 06 to $2.10 ? Did it have anything to do with the election ? Were the Republicans trying to jump start the economy temporarily ?
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

QuoteWere the Republicans trying to jump start the economy temporarily ?

Maybe, but so much for the Democrats helping. What's happened since they're time of reign? Nothing but even more bickering in the White House and record high gas prices. Thanks a lot Demos, you obviously listened to America...

Don't be so hard on them they are doing what they can. Just be happy you lie in the USA were you should be able to speak your mind.

GOD BLESS THE USA AND THOSE WHO LIVE IN IT!!!!!
