This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

My partner dumped me! I know most of the people on this forum don't fish with the Michigan Bass Federation, but I am looking for someone to be my non boater for the Charlevoix tournament. I would expect you to share expenses for gas. I am going whether I get a partner or not. So if no one is interested, I'll just fun fish while I'm there. I run a 2007 Triton TR21 with a 250 Merc. I will be going up there on the Friday before the tournament so I won't have a lot of time to prefish. Basically, I'm just looking for someone to share the day in the boat with. You have to be a Michigan Bass Federation Member to fish the tournament.
