Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Is launching at the DNR site acceptable? Will we be able to tie up to the docks for weigh in?

Vic Cerabone

To answer your question YES, and NO.  I have no problem with you launching at the DNR ramp and motoring over.  We can check your livewell, etc. in the morning.  The problem comes with tying up you boat in the afternoon.  The only two docks we are allowed to use are the gas docks - for unloading and loading of boats only.  The owners of Whites Landing insist on this.  If you want to launch at the DNR ramp, in the afternoon you will have to have your partner wait on the water while you weight fish.

I know this is not ideal, but I can tell you that I had very intense negotiations with White Landing about using their site this year.  Some other events have not treated the launch with as much respect as we have, and that HAS cost us.  We have to understand that they are trying to run a business and make money too.  They make far more money on one dock slip customer that on all our tournaments.

Give me a call if you have any other questions about this.

Good news!  I have just secured an additional lot for parking.  :) The storage boats are also clearing up in the main lot, so there should be no parking problems.

I have recieved quite a few call about Saturdays event already this week.  Last year we had 43 boat on Opening day on Lobdell.  Hope to see you there.
