Be on alert in Southwest MI, we got some serious storms on the way with rotation and 70mph winds.

They knocked my power out twice here on the East side last night.  Grr.  Fortunately they were both just short outages.  I think the longest was about 2 minutes.  A few years ago when I lived in Detroit, we went a week with no power.  Glad it's not like that anymore.

I was 4 hours without power last night, a large tree came down a couple streets over taking out the lines. I sat on my patio listening to the Tigers Game drinking beer before it got warm.
