Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Anything going on at Belleville yet? I'll be there June 9&10 going after the ever elusive black bass. lol. Been looking forward to it since my last trip there last year.

thomas

Caught a nice 4lb-12oz smallie last Saturday before last. Also few short one's. I'll be out there again about the same time as you. I'll be in a Ranger 354V Blue and Silver. Introduce yourself. See you out there.

OK, see you there. I'll be with a small group from Ohio, 6 boats I think.

MaizeNBlue

I was there last Sat, the 12th. All the bed fish you can handle. Need to look hard for the beds due to the water claritly, but they are there. Look for a speck of black through the water and it's prolly a bed, or ofcourse a rock. Got a bite off one fished it for 20 mins, before I pulled over it and saw it was in fact just a rock  :-\'. I prolly caught 40-50 keepers. Most were in the 2lb range, got some 3's and a couple of 4's, the rest were aggressive little males, arn't we all.

thomas

I just don't recall the lake being that nasty years passed. I hope it clears up pretty soon. I could not believe the scum I had to clean off my boat. ???

Hey Maize, are you catching LM or SM

thomas

Maize,

How about taking me out one day and showing some community fishing holes? 40 or 50, I haven't caught that many my whole life and I'm 63 yrs. old. :-[

thomas :)

I was catching all SM. No real community spots, all I did was turn right out of the ramp (towards the dam), started on a point, on the North shorline, and worked it all the way to the dam. Actually I never made it to the dam, but you get the picture. I live about 20 mins from the lake, I have no idea where to fish when they get off beds, so if anyone wants to go, just let me know.

thomas

MaizeNBlue,

It nice to meet you today. Never thought I'd meet someone on this forum riding my son's bicycle around the block. I only live 5 minutes from you. We will have to the lake together. Looking forward to fishing with you. ;D

Mid west sportsman I believe. I am really trying to get my Trailer fixed in time but if it doesn't happen I would really like to fish that tourney. I have fished the opening weekend tourney on Belleville the last 7 yrs and really like it.

Team houston

It is a team tourny that is an Open so you don't have to join. It is $100 dollars a team plus think $10 for big bass. I think according to Roys Tourny list blast off is scheduled for 6:30 from Sandys

Team houston

Thomas, I really want to fish but I won't get the parts from Ranger till Thurs. My brother will be doing the work after he gets home from work thurs,Fri and Sat if need be. So honestly I probably wont know till Sat. I know that is late notice and understand if thats doesn't work for you. I will keep you posted in the meantime and if we do end up fishing 50/50 is fine   Phil
