I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Well,

There's been 2 Wen. Night Oakland Co. as long as i've been fishing Bass Tournaments
And i've fished in both of them. Great bunch of people and fishermen

With the fall out of the NBAA
One's a open and the other is Cash for Bass
And they both Fished Cass lake last night. Shouldn't be a problem, Everyone knows each other

And then some @sshole had to steal Paul S. boat key
I mean really? Come on. It's a Week night tournament to have fun

djkimmel

Are you sure someone stole his boat keys or did they possibly get lost or misplaced? Did he find them, or get them back?

That crossed through my mind too... but I wasn't planning on typing it out...

Paul and I do occasionally compare notes on our new 'talents' and what might be real mystery verses we just forget what we did or didn't do.

I hope someone didn't take them. That would be a sucky thing to do. Though it's not much better if we do something else and forget that we did it. I say this after spending 5 minutes just now looking for something I set down and completely forgot what I did with it 30 seconds later! Ends up being out in the open so obvious it's a good thing it doesn't bite... ::)

2 wednesday trails, tons of lakes around here, they picked the same one.  good job

djkimmel

It is a popular lake...

But there are quite a few lakes over there too? I guess it could go either way.

Yea, For years the shared schedules
And this year was no different. Some one higher then Bill & Ed made the call that they would start on the
same lake as Paul.
everyone knows eash other.
And really I'd bet my life on it wasn't 80% of the them. And I'd still trust the other 20%
But there could be a bad apple out there. Let's hope after all these years of leaveing the key in the boat
It just fell out and blew away

Is it odd that I don't ever leave my key in the boat?  Seems everyone else leaves it in there.

if that works for you it isn't odd

Me, I leave them in the boat and carry a spare set in the truck
It's not like there going to drive the boat away.

djkimmel

I don't leave mine in the boat. I don't leave mine in the car so why would I leave it in the boat?!?

I have a lock on the hitch too whether it is attached to the truck or sitting in the driveway.

Storing my boat in public storage I have to have a lock on the hitch.  It's locked when it's hooked up too though.  Suppose if I were really smart I'd get a receiver lock, but trying to just make it through this year without any (more) major breakdowns.

i have never taken my key out of any boat I have owned.   Hide it somewhere but leave it in the boat.  I have seen many guys at the ramp with no keys.

Also never tie a towl to it.  I saw a towl with key attached along I-94 one day. ;D ;D

Also DON'T put your key in your jacket pocket if there's any chance you might forget your jacket is laying on the boat seat or deck!!! Spare keys are a GREAT idea! I talked to someone today who now has FIVE spare keys!!! ;D

Got Fish??

I've lost my boat key many times and then found it in my box or in my pocket, or at home. I  have a spare in my truck. I also never leave my key in the boat, with the float on it .It may blow out the boat while in travels. I hope it was misplaced, and know one  took Paul's key.

I was thinking about that too. Quite a bit for you fortunate, lucky newer owners. I just hope they've made it harder to find out how to reset the numbers.

I guess that didn't happen.  Unless you call yesterday "semi-major".
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
