Yes  I work for the City of Mishawaka but we do occasionally get a few grass fires.  Nothing very big.  We get more open burning complaints than anything. We have a one month period for allowable burning by permit only starting today.  We don't have any grass rigs, but we have gotten trucks stuck. lolol  :)

YpsiBass

I notice that's a Ford truck that's stuck and I know there's a joke in there somewhere...

LAPORTE

No joke... just 200 gallons of water and a soft ground...

Did you call a dodge to pull it out? LOL
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

Saw the blackened strip of my first grass fire on the way to D & R Sports Center this morning. Not sure if it was on purpose or an accident.

No sign of any stuck trucks...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Saw a grass fire yesterday on the way to family dinner. Didn't see anyone around and it was technically someone's front yard. Hope it was set on purpose AND they know what they're doing!

Not necessarily Dan  !!!!   Our area has had a couple homes or outbuildings burn recently because of planned burns that went bad.  Wind whipping like crazy one of those days.  Makes you wonder about some people's common sense.
