I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I placed an order from bass pro shops a couple of weeks ago...According to the package tracking it arrived at my post office last thursday.  I have had a ton of problems with the post office in my area. (Almont).. The Almont post office claimed they never recieved it..I went down to the post office and they basically told me I was out of luck..
I called Bass Pro shops and they said No Problem we will resend your order 2 day delivery...No questions Asked...I am sure they are going to try to track it down..It was pretty pricey..
You really can't ask much more than that from a company....Especially when everyone involved knows it was the fault of my postal area.

Had a similar experience, both with BPS and the post office.  BPS sent me some waterproof Plano boxes, one was missing the waterproof ring.  Talked to them and they shipped me out a new one, told me to keep the original one as a gift.  Awesome.
And I had some rods shipped to me, post office didn't try to deliver them until I went up there and asked about them, then they said yeah, they're here.  Wonder why they didn't give notice for pick-up?.?.?.?

That is exactly what happened to me..The package just showed up at my door...After I called and complained up and down the chain at USPS,,Imagine that..The postal customer service is horrible...If they were a true business the door would have been closed on them along time ago..I am sorry if I am offending a postal worker here...and I am sure it isn't a problem at the worker level..It is a system and management issue.  I asked the postmaster at the office for his bosses number or who his next higher office was and he refused to give it to me.
Scared I guess...He basically said my package was lost and there wasn't anything he could do..I thought he would at least try to take the tracking number and get back to me.  My neighbors and I exchange missent mail about once a week..
thank god for email and UPS....I am going to have to set my bills up for online paying too...won't be much longer we won't need the USPS anymore.  I think that at least at my branch they have no concept of customer service...They tried to help me at the national service office, but basically they said it was delivered to your home postal office.
Anyway the point of all of this is BPS was willing to send me out another order with basically no questions asked...They will continue to get my business as long as they keep up with outstanding customer service like that.
