Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Hope it ok to post here looking for a trailer to use or buy. i want to send my in when the ramps open up to get painted. Im in the Branch County area. Shouldn't take no more then 2 weeks.

You probably need to give more information about the Boat that you have so people know what your needs are as far as size of trailer and bunk configuration...

I did a overhaul to my trailer a few years ago.  I went to the local marina and they removed my boat and stored it while I did the trailer.   They charged less than a hundred bucks.

i have a 96 skeeter zx 190.

i will have to see what local marina will charge.

Call around. Prices varied considerably. 

And I hadn't thought of it, but I was loaned a trailer by my boat dealer when I smashed up my boat.  The insurance company bought me a new boat and I bought the smashed one back from them. I used the boat dealers' loaner trailer to transport it. 

If you want to keep using your boat while you work on your trailer, you might want to check into renting a trailer from a dealer.
