I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

My Craigs List rant

So my 98 Tahoe is apparently dead.  I'm $800 into it and it still will not run and no one can tell me why.  So, I've been scouring Craigs List for a "new" one of the same vintage.  There are some out there but what amazes me is the total lack of information people put in their adds.  If it were my add I'd make sure the mileage was listed, pictures from several angles including the interior, a good way to contact you, an asking price, etc.  Yet I am finding adds with NONE of this listed.  Some with no price at all.  And I've sent emails and left messages on at least 6-8 in the last 2 days with only 2 of the sellers even bothering to respond.  One just said "yes, I still have it."  All further messages have gone unanswered, for 2 days!!!  What the heck?  Why list it if you are not going to actually try to sell it?

OK, rant over.  Just do me a favor all of you:

Put all the information YOU would want in your add when you sell stuff on Craigs List!!  That way you won't make me rant on a fishing site about it!!

:o
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Seems that more and more scams are happening on Craigslist. I listed my truck on it last year and got nothing but weird calls and emails. Also when browsing the used bass boats some adds seem really iffy

i have noticed most of those ones lacking info are the ones if you reply your junk mail count goes up.

If an ad has no pictures, no price, or no description, I don't waste my time.
