There is a public meeting about the Asian Carp problem in Ann Arbor Jan 21st at 4 o clock. If you wish to speak you have to register. You can find out more info from Rep Debbie Stabenows office. This is your chance to speak directly to the Army Corps of Engineers and their different proposals on the problem.

Was anybody there? Or know somebody that was there?

djkimmel

I haven't heard... I imagine some of the people I been 'hanging out' with at the various meetings this past year were there. I talked with the MUCC Executive Director about quite a few topics yesterday, but this one did not come up.

Just so many meetings going on nowadays it's not easy to keep track of them all, or even talk about them all. I'm glad there are people who can make more meetings than I can, and I'm glad different people have different areas of more importance to them because it's very hard to be effective if you try to hit every single meeting and cover every single topic.

I appreciate the posting of this information. The odds are someone will read who has this topic as one of their top priorities. It does come up at quite a few meetings, and in quite a few other topics we work on at various meetings.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
