Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Anyone try the duo realis spinbait 80?  Do you truly fish them on 4 lb?  Any success? Or lessons learned?

I might throw it on 8 but i think 4 is a little nuts. Those guys in Japan throw it on 4 because of the pressure more than anything I think.

I saw bob o throw one once upon a time.  He caught a lot of expensive japanese crankbait...

My partner used one in the Chiller and Last Chance.  He did not do that well with it. I think the water may have been to cold.   He did lose one when the bail closed during a cast.  That made him cry.  They do look pretty but out of my price range.

Wonder if it will be the new rage during the fishing shows.  Not sure anything can beat the A-Rig for the " Have to buy bait " at the shows.

I saw the video advertisement and decided I needed not one but two of them. I have tried them on 10, 8 and 4 lb line. The lighter line allows better depth control but 8 lb worked just fine. To be honest I have yet to catch a fish on them so I really can't be more specific. They look good coming thru the water and if I was a fish I'd bite it. I was hoping to try it on St. Clair but I never got back out there to try them. I got them in Perch & Bluegill colors.

I keep seeing this topic touched on and immediately think of all the 'spy' fishing I've seen done over the years... ::) I guess this is something different? I can't get to it until I've got castable umbrella rigs and swim baits down really good in Michigan... I have some work on Jika Rigs yet to do also though I can definitely report the Neko Rig is awesome and thank you to all of you who keep not trying it... I prefer easy to catch fish these days to the smart ones... ;D

Earlier this summer my neighbors gramdkids were catching fish off the dock with a secret bait.  Worms from grandma' s garden.   They asked me not to tell her they dug it up.  That's why I figured they were secret baits.

Worms... it's what's for dinner (heard a fish say that once)

I to was hooked by the demonstration video, finally remembered to try it at the Frosty Nuts tournament, caught some nice weeds but that was all.  Had a hard time determining if the props were really turning.  Could'a bought a couple of decent jerk baits for the price.

FOR SALE...Duo Realis Spinbait 80....beautiful condition....thrown once still a virgin, 10 dallah.
