Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hooked up with my buddy Jerry Meisner for a 3 day trip to Northern Michigan from October 29-31st. We have both had phenomenal days smallmouth fishing up there but nothing like we did for this 3 day stretch. We were dialed in from our previous trip and the weather and fish just came together perfectly for us. It was either flat calm or a light breeze for 3 straight days but we got wet yesterday. Our numbers for the first day was 70 but 55 of those were over 4 pounds and up to 6-2 best 5 went 28-12 best 10 went 55 pounds. Second day slowed some for the bigger bite we put 80 in the boat and 50 were over 4 best 5 went 26-6. Day three we had over 100 smallmouth again over half were over 4 pounds and up to 6-6, best 5 went 28-4 best 10 went 54 pounds. For the trip we had over 250 smallmouth and 155 of those were over 4 pounds. The quality was absolutely amazing, my arms and thumbs are currently recovering from the smallie smash fest. The way we figured our totals was we would throw one in the livewell until we had 10 if it was over 4 and then drive them to deep water to keep those fish from alerting the school we were on at that time and take pics. Each day we did this atleast 5 times.

There are probably some duplicates in there and a some pics I missed and didn't post. Just to many pictures to sort through and those are just the ones we took from my phone plus a few jerry sent me. Jerry has a bunch more pics of good ones that he didn't send. Most of the pictures we took are of 5s or better.

OMG. This is best post of a trip I have ever seen. I am so jealous I don't know what to ask first. Can you share details? What lake were you on? Water temps? Depth? Baits? Details would be great. I am holding out hope of getting one more trip in before Thanksgiving. If I don't I can always look at your trip pics and dream over the winter.
        Thanks

TCook

Burt & Mullett lakes, 51-53 degrees, that's about as much as I will say. I will say one thing though we didn't need any spinning rods and light line to catch these fish I used a heavy action jig rod and jerry used a MH. Ya if you think its fun catching 4 and 5 pounders all day on spinning gear try ripping there skulls with a heavy jig rod over and over and over again. It doesnt get any better!

Dave there were 4 really ugly thumbs in the boat after that trip and 1 beat up forearm. I had a couple of particularly mean fish that stabbed the heck out of my arm while reaching in the livewell. They had me bleeding like a stuck hog for a while. LOL It was an epic trip for sure.
