Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I will be there rain or shine.  I like fishing the lake that much!!  Please let me know if you are coming.  As I said, my tournament scale took a dump so we'll just use my pretty accurate digital hand held scale and a weigh in bag since this is mostly for fun/braggin rights.   ;D

I'll try to find some stuff to give away.

As for the weather... my bet is it will change AGAIN before Sunday.  This is Michigan after all.

Thanks guys,

Mike

Sorry guys.   I'm out.  Thunderstorms all weekend. :'(
Got one!

Slipkey

I'm in and will be heading up with the boat early in the morning.  If anyone wants to ride along from GR or needs a ride from Muskegon, I'll have room.  Otherwise, see you there!

spinninbug

We will be there,  I'm hoping the storms are passing through right now and will be done by morning,  it's thundering and raining right now,  ok so I'm a optimist!!  But rain or shine we will be there,  wonder if Jeff will suck it up and show up????  Hmmmm???

How did you guys end up?

Look for the post by Waterfoul.  5 boats, all had limits with the lowest in the 13 pound range and the winners with 20 lbs.  Caught a lot of fish.  :)

I saw that, sounds like a great day on the water! I was torn, to drive the extra distance to Manistee, or fish Pere Marquette lake, now I'm thinking I should have drove to Manistee for a shot at some bigger fish!

Ron and I hit P.M. on the way home and it was definitely slower than Manistee.

How much further north is Manistee from PM? 30 mins?

Probably closer to 20 minutes.  Just head east down M-10 and turn left back onto 31.  Then it's up the road about 15 miles or so.  Easy!

I still haven't given up on getting that last Bassmaster event in Michigan in September but even if we do it is earlier this year than last year's All-Star Week.

I will probably put up a poll again for a fall event but less lakes on it. If we can find a date and lake enough people will commit to I'll give the fall event another shot for 2014. I sure hope by then the bass season meetings are mostly over and I can get back to business more.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

The idea behind the fall event was to have one more or less on the west side of the state.  Hubbard is on the east side and not really that easy to get to from the west side.  I for one wouldn't make that trip... it's about 4 hours from here.

I find it hard to believe that there's not a good bass lake on the west side in the GR/Muskegon area that can handle 10-15 boats.

White, Muskegon, Manistee, Hamlin, Gun, Grand River, etc... there are lots of them.
