Shaky head advice

I'm looking for new jig heads for shaky headin'.  I have had bad luck with one certain brand of the screw type jig heads ... the springs kept breaking off.  I'd like to find another brand of jig head with a better spring and where to get them.  What do you use?  THX.

Have you tried spot removers?  I know alot of guys who swear by them.  I will be putting some time in on them this season.

I personally havent had much success with screwed up jig heads.  Especially the football heads.  I'm probably not using them in the correct situations.

The only type I have used is a standard round head jig w/ no spring and the Spot Remover.

I like spot removers...it helps if you put a little bit of fishin glue on the spike part before you put the worm on. whatever you put on there will stay put no matter how much abuse you put it thru.

The best shaky head by far is the Giggy Head. Never herd of it look for it at backwatersonline.com it is a great head.

I see they have a Spot Remover Pro model which uses a spring.  Perhaps I'll order some to see if they use better springs.  Also, here's an interesting one:  http://backwatersonline.com/category.cfm?Category=1499

I prefer the spotsticker jigs.  You put a bend in the front of the worm, but when using a light head and a flat bottomed worm (like YUM houdini worm) it wiggles side to side as it falls.  I only use the spring head type for beavers or other bulky baits.

Anyone have any experience with the Tru-Tungsten that Iaconelli promotes? They look good, but pretty pricey.
