Fished my first Thursday CFB inland tournament this past Thursday on Lake Oakland. First time ever on the lake and I was ok with my fishing. Only had 3 fish, with one decent one. I missed two that would have made a big differnce, one on a hookset where I poorly executed and another miss at the boat, both good fish.

In my very limited tourney experience, I'd say it was a well run tournament, pretty good turnout and nice payouts. Of course, I didn't see any cash, but I had a great time. And it was great group of guys, including some members from GLB.  Had some trailer issues and every jumped to help me. Appreciate that bigtime!

Thanks for putting these on. Look forward to fishing more in the future.

Glad you gave it a try and shared your thoughts. I guess it is more accurately - cash for enough bass?!? ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
