Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Dive it where you are comfortable. Get used to it before you drive it like a mad man. I know it took a minute going from the 150 to the 225.

Are you still coming to Muskegon for All Star Week?  Do I get to babysit that one?  Better yet, do I get to ride in that one?

markgoetsch

congrats!  She looks great and should be a much nicer ride for Erie and St. Clair.

Lightningboy

tell me more, tell me more, does she have a friend?

Sorry, grease 2 was on tonight, feeling kind of inspired.

So give us the dirty details.  20 with a 250 should fly.

Jackplate?...have you come to the dark side?    8)

LAPORTE

Your crazy Ken  ;D

Yea it's a 20i with a 250 HPDI riding on an Atlas hyd. Jack plate. The motor has 232 hours on it by the computer and 159 of them are running at less than 1000 rpm. When I spoke with the original owner he told me that he was over whelmed by side imaging when he bought the boat new thus the idle time. It's going to take some getting used to. Just cruising around the lake Saturday it was hard to stay under 55. I'm not sure how fast she will go? The first owner says about 77 but I'm not sure on that. I do know the 50 gallon fuel tank it alot to fill. lol

You'll get used to the speed, it just takes time.  When I first got lightning, I couldn't get over 63-65 because of the chine walk.

September/October is a great time to really learn to drive, since the lake is mostly empty.  Take a few minutes to make a couple of high speed passes each time you go out.  It'll take you a while to get used to how much to trim and raise the jackplate to run fast.

Better pray those gas prices go down... ;D
