Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Just wanted to stop on by and fill you guys in on whats been happening at the shop. We are expanding this year. We have added rods and reels, Shimano, Lew's, G-loomis and St. Croix and we maybe adding another brand or two to the mix also. We have add some Jackal Plastics and we have a few other new ones coming on board in the shop. We have plans to expanded on the colors choices with Poor Boys and X-Zone this year also.We will be adding Rapala DT's and Bandits to the Diving crank selection and one other that is in the works. We will have the Scatter Rap lineup in also. We are adding kayak to the mix also. We are carrying Ocean and NuCanoe.

There is lots of changes going in the store this year so stop on by and say hi if your in the area.

Hey we just got the 13 Fishing Omen rods in. They feel like a great bass stick for the money stop on by and check them out some time.We also have Shimano , St. Croix, and G-Loomis Rods. The Lew's bait caster are in and I have spooled a few of them up and casted them and they all have casted awesome so make sure you check those out as well.
