Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Do any of you guys prefer Mizmo tubes over other brands?

In all honesty I don't believe I've ever tried them.  I've used Strike King some, but mostly I use the tubes from Combat Fishing (Wayne Carpenter's).   I believe that Wayne's tubes are triple dipped, and they last long, and I get a decent sink rate out of them.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I have used Mizmo tubes sporadically over the last 5 years. I bought a 100 pack of 4" Big Boys in Erie Green in 2002. I always have some with me on Clair and occasionally they have been the hot ticket for me. That is the only color I have used. The quality is good and I think I paid about $11.00 dollars for 100 [boat show pricing].
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Normally I throw either a Nichols or a Yum Vibra King....but - I carry Mizmo's in a couple colors, xmas tree & smoke / purple. I like 'em just fine but not any more than my others. We had a day "up north" last year that you had to have a Mizmo xmas tree on to get bit. i guess that's why I carry 'em.
I don't think you'll be disapointed if you buy some. A man has to have stuff to go with his stuff!
Look past what they want you to see.

read the old BFL reports on Kevin Vida on Erie.  Mizmo tubes in 30 feet of water was his standard report.  i have some of the Big Boys also.   love them Mccarter drop shot gobies though.  so do the Bass on Cass and Union,   ask Kev...

I got a couple of colors.  They are alright.  I tend to use Wayne's tubes and ISG's.  They seem to last a little longer.

I like the Mizmo tubes, although I carry all kinds, the Mizmo "Green Mist" has been a goto bait for me. On a tube jig and carolina rig.
If you ever need to know more about Mizmo products contact Nick Neves or "Catchem". He's not on this site very much, but he is alwas on LSCN.net
Nick is sponsored by them and has a LARGE selection of baits in his home.
