Heaven Is For Real

My mother passed one year ago. A dear friend from high school sent a book called Heaven Is For Real to me and asked me to read it. I am a christian and thought I knew what Heaven was and what it looked like in my mind.

I started reading it and never put it down until I was done. Well lets just say I don"t know how many times I teared up during my reading.

I thought I really knew Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but now have moved even closer to him. I am not going to tell you the story, but urge you to buy it or get it from someone that has it.

If you are not sure where you stand in his life, maybe read it and hopefully you will let Christ in your heart.

I too read this book soon after my Dad passed 2 years ago.  It was a great read.  For those who don't know, the basic story line is of a young boy who "dies", goes to heaven, and returns.  He recounts what heaven was/is like.   I found it very comforting.

Now, we keep several copies around and give them away to friends we know in similar situations of reassurance.

Another book I read around Christmas is "The Case For a Creator" by Lee Strobel.  Being an ex Science teacher I found that one to be really spot on.

Now I'm reading "The Case For Christ" by the same author.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
