I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Is Livonia far from Bass Pro Shops?

Mike S.

I have to take my wife to a specialist in Livonia on January 10th. I think we are going to drive over on the 9th and spend the night. I have never been to BPS near Detroit. Since the 10th is my birthday, I figure I will be able to con the wife into letting me buy a whole bunch of stuff while I'm there.

Also, any recommendations of where to stay?  Where to eat/drink?  We will have no kids, and it's my birthday. Gotta throw down for a night. Doctor appointment isn't until 11.

there is a Toby Keith's next door to BPS. Great food, decent prices. Many many places to stay and/or eat. Give me a call.

It's alot closer than Grand Rapids... or Muskegon!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Livonia is right next to Farmington
I myself live in Farmington and BP is about a 45 min drive

I live in Livonia, Mike. It is safe to say from there it is a 45 minute drive. I work up near BPS so I drive up there every day. On a good day with light traffic, you can do it in 35 minutes. You'll be going Telegraph and if you can time all the lights and go 5 over the speed limit, you'll make it in 35 minutes. There are about 3 to 4 routes to BPS from Livonia and they're all about 45 minutes time wise.

Big Dog, do you have any recommendations on a nice hotel and a good restaurant in Livonia?  I think I'm going to leave work early on the 9th and go right to BPS for a while. Then we will head to Livonia and get a room and some food. And some beer!!

Got Fish??

Hello Mike S. There are a alot of nice places to stay and dine in Livonia. They are vary easy to find. Most are close to I-275 and 6 mile Rd.If you have a G.P.S., log in to Laural park place. It will be nice to have you in our area!

Skulley

As Got Fish?? said you can't go wrong at 6mile and I275. There's a couple hotels including a Marriott and a Best Western. For food you can go to Buffalo Wild Wings or go into the mall. There's a couple nice places with good food there.
