Many people are using Double Barrels these days. What are your thoughts on them and differences between the two?

Doubles are nice when hunting upland bird or shooting trap/skeet or even sporting clays.  These days most of the nice doubles are over under.  If you want a good hunting side/side, your going to have to find an old one, or a good european model, and either way your paying big bucks.

However, you can get a nice auto loader for under a grand, and have far less recoil, which is great when shooting sporting clays or skeet.

If you are in the market for an inexpesive Over/Under, I have a Stoeger 12G. that I would let go real cheap, in real nice shape.
