Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Im interested in getting some feedback on Phoenix Boats. I have read a lot of good stuff and saw a couple at the Classic Expo a couple of years ago. I just havent gotten much info on experiences with them. If you have an opinion or experience that will give me some more insight into the brand I would appreciate it.

Lake Drive Marine is now selling them. I'm thinking about taking one for a test drive this summer to see if I like it. Give Jeff a call. They have some pretty neat features.

I got the opportunity to fish in a 921 Pro XP on Table Rock in August. Man, what a blast! Hands down the best bass boat I have every been in. Not to mention the fishing was great! The two of us boated about 40 bass, (Smallmouth and Spotted) 2 walleye, and 2 big catfish. The price is hefty but you get what you pay for.

Ben Wallace is buying one right now

I purchased a 2012 619pro in the fall, 200 merc. really nice boat, got a heck of a deal, well built, nice features, rides nice in LSC.

Researched the heck out the comparable boats. Drove me nuts.  Extremely satisfied.

Have ya seen their website lately. Seems they are doing what BPS does and doing a factory direct model. 20 foot 250 merc proXp  lowrnace 5's  all the toys but no power poles. For 47 and some change. Not a bad deal from what I have seen

Im not interested in looking anymore, I just got one!

I took a trip south back in late December, checked out a couple BIRDS and skeeters in KY and Tenn. I test drove 2 Pheonix boat (921 and 721) and a Skeeter FX21. All were great rides but the ride in both Phoenix boats were AWESOME! One place had a pro's boat there (721 with Yamaha SHO 250) loaded with gear, 3/4 tank of fuel and 3 of us on the boat (which was a loaad in itself, we arent small!). It was cold, windy and a little rough water. Running that thing up and down the lake and it was FAST for the load-72mph, DRY and SMOOTH! We then went to Winchester, Tenn. to the Phoenix factory and took about a 5 hour tour and taIked to just about everyone there, they were a great bunch of people. Price was much better than the other brands, many things that are upgrades on others are standard there.
I gave the options I wanted no matter what the brand to about 6 dealers of both brands and for the price Phoenix was way ahead, and thats what I was hoping to start with after the trip. Ordered it from Lake Drive in Coldwater and have already taken her to Bama for a week, breaking in the motor and a little fishing of course.

Im like a kid in a candy store!!! Going back south in a couple of weeks cuz the hard water here isnt thawing fast enough.  IM GLAD TO BE A BIRD MAN!
