I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hi guys,
I just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a college kid living in Kalamazoo.  Looks like a great forum, I'm looking forward to reports and tips on here.  I have fished a few small club tournaments in SW Michigan before but I am new to tourneys and always open to tips and learning new techniques.  I can't really afford to join a club right now but If anyone ever has a backseat open when just fun fishing I'd relish the opportunity seeing as I don't have boat access right now.

I don't fish down that way much.... most of my fishing up this way (Grand Rapids) or further north.

I assume you have a car?  There are a lot of guys here who are willing to take a young man fishing if you can meet them somewhere along the way or at the ramp.

Nice to meet you guys.  Yes, I have a car, just not a tow vehicle and therefore no boat.  I am more than willing to meet someone at the ramp.  Looking for something somewhat close to me, but I would drive to St. Clair or Erie in a heartbeat if an opportunity presented itself. East side of the state is no problem since I have friends that live over there I can stay with.

Welcome to GLB.  I've been out with a few members on LSC.  You will not find a better group of people anywhere on the Internet.  You should check out the Madwags Memorial Tournament in the spring on LSC.  So. Much. Fun.

Not sure you can move to Michigan Jeff.  There's this thing called a "border" and you'll have to get permission to cross it for more than a week.  Oh, and you'll have to buy a bunch of Maize and Blue clothes.

Thanks for joining. Everyone has something to add.

Frank added his boat. Without him.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
