BFL is on the Grand this weekend .... Oh boy . >:(

What's bad about that? You can't make it? Or you don't like to fish there? Fishing different types of water should make you a better angler.

Reminds me of the Ohio river.
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

Docks are often a pretty good choice on many lakes too. I heard there was some dock fishing going on last night on Gun.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

center lake, south east of jackson? any good?

It can be. Or was in the past. Can be tough too. Shallow and weedy with some very stumpy places. Been a while since I've fished it but I enjoyed that you could get to several other lakes of different sizes and types through channels if you got bored on big Center. I had a few good days up the chain a ways on Wolf. I had some fun a few times on the small lakes in between. Weekend boat traffic can get crazy on the open areas but there are many nooks and crannies.

I recall one tournament I fished a long time ago where the winner followed the weedeater around the big lake catching bass right behind it. That was interesting. There are quite a few options for shallow to moderately deep largemouth bass fishing.
