Went out to orchard today for a family day.  Not too many bass boats with a patio umbrella in the center.    ;D  anyhow water was clear and 70 deg.  Lots of fry balls in the shallows.  My 4 year old caught 3-  14" largies on a 4" dinger wacky rigged.  We fished isolated weed beds.  Hook a couple big bass that his new rod/reel couldnt handle.  I heard a lot of "they spit it daddy.  They didnt like it" What a blast.  He is hooked for life.  Couldnt ask for a better day.
Got one!

i was out there yesterday and me and my buddy caught probably near 60 fish and only 7 were keepers, i honestly think DNR should make that lake a 12" limit. i am aware that there are big ones out there but theres millions of little ones, it was a riot catching all of those fish though  :)
"dont stop keep fishing"

Hey 586, i saw you out there by the island taking a break.  My wife and i got there just before 8 and left about 12:30. She doesn't fish, but i did catch a 16.5" sm on the surface, and 3 lm over13", but not keepers. I guess we should've gone saturday instead. If you see a white Grumman out there, it's probabally me...stop by and say hello....mark

She was catching some rays in the back of the boat?  If so I seen you working the break.

Yes, that was me throwing a soft swimbait around before we left.
