This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Who'd of thought there would be two 6-2's? Not the team that 'weighed' in the first 6-2 anyway.

Hope everyone had a fun day. Mike and I did. We caught all our fish off beds.

A few pictures coming in. If you have any good ones, please send them my way (http://glbass.com/contact). Sometime after Mother's Day festivities I will start working on results. All kinds of interesting things going on this day.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I think I got it right!

We had a blast yesterday Dan.  Thanks again for doing this.  Thanks Mikesmiph for doing all the cooking.  My burger was great!!

Don, Aaron and I went over to the "winning" spot after the cookout and can totally understand how they got that big bag.  We caught a LOT of quality fish over there.  So much fun!!!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Blah, blah, blah.  That's all I got out of that Mike!  LOL!

I'm glad everyone who made it caught some nice fish and got to enjoy the great fishing Lake St. Clair has to offer us!

Hey! If you have any digital pictures you took from the day, please send them to me (http://glbass.com/contact). I forgot to get my camera out and delegate a camera person. I need some pictures. I have 2 or 3. Could use some more. Thanks!
