Dan, this may be that Catamarran style hull you were talking about..it's the bay boat version in the pictures but the Bass Boat is basically the same.....I have seen pictures of a few but have never seen one run...

That's the one. It's not really a true go fast compared to the Allison, Stoker, Blazer, etc but it is supposed to be stable and good with rough water. I've never seen one in the flesh. Might be fun to try one out some day but I'm pretty sure I'm sticking with my good ole Ranger. I'm clumsy so having that stabile fishing deck under me really helps!
