Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Well, the anti's have done it again.  Because several of the Save our Heritage Sweepstakes ticket solocitations mailed out by well meaning organizations
contained the word "purchase" rather than "donate", the anti's asked the Michigan Attorney General's Office to curtail CWC's fundraising efforts by shutting down our sweepstakes.  They complied, and stopped the sweepstakes ticket distribution, effectively cutting off our major fundraising activity. You can read more about this in the following letter on the CWC web site link:

http://www.cwcmi.org/letter.htm

In an effort to raise as much money as quickly as possible, we've created the CWC Millenium Club.  While not everyone may be able to afford "membership" in the Millenium Club, we hope that you are one of them who can.  Take a look at the Millenium Club flyer at the following web site link:

http://www.cwcmi.org/images/Millenium-Club-Flyer.pdf

If you are not able to participate at the Millenium Club level, at least consider
helping us out by donating what you can.  Donations can be made at the following web site link:

Please pass this e-mail on to as many of your friends, family and acquaintances
as you can.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
