I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Do they have a store front here in M.I. or is it Ebay or no way?? I was hpoing to find a local retailer.

Wayne's store is at his house in Clawson Michigan. You can call him at his toll free number and arrange to pick stuff up from him, or easier, just have him mail it to you. He will accomodate you in any way he can.

Let me know if you need something else and I will help if I can.

I was just looking for an excuse to check out some new tackle shops. I am wanting to try a his hula style grubs in the canadian mist, I have been using GYCB and I am going through a lot of them. also they don't make the color I like any more and the canadian mist is close. I will get an order in later this week, may have to get some tubes too.

Thanks.

Wayne has some great colors - ask about them. My overall favorite is green-pumpkin with chartreuse and purple flake. He has twin tails, 4 and 5 inch tubes, and 4 inch Xworms in that color.

If you talk to Wayne first, you could probably go over and browse the tackle in his house... but, he might put you to work bagging baits ;D

I agree with the green pumpkin color.  I keep Wayne's X worms, and his twin tail grubs in that color also.  I use it a lot on inland lakes, and on Clair.  But there are times on St. Clair, when the Canadian Mist color just out fishes all others.  I usually use the 5" model on Clair, and the 4" on inland lakes.  I don't know if it's a forage thing, a confidence thing, or just coincidence, but it seems to work out for me.

About ten days ago we got into a school of 3 1/2 to  5# smallies on Clair, and the bait of choice was a 5" Canadian Mist tube.  I've never had so much fun fishing before.  I was fishing the 12' breakline w/ a 3/8 oz jig head.  (Waves, current, and wind made me go this heavy).

I even caught a 5 1/2 # Sheeps head that liked that color too. Man did he pull hard!

It's strange how color selective smallies get isn't it?  Until 2 weeks ago, the St. Clair Goby color was what was working.  But for the past two weeks the Canadian Mist is out performing.  In fact, Friday my partner had the Goby on all day and I had the Mist on and I caught and hooked probably 10 fish to 1.  Then when he switched up colors to the Mist, he started getting bit.

Anyway, the Canadian Mist is a great color lately in clear water.

Rev,
are you talking about on St. Clair, or on an inland lake?
