I had to watch the last few minutes of the game to see if the rest of you will be in a good mood or not! That last play was something else! I actually thought they would kick and slap the ball all the way down the field to the Lion's endzone! But it's a win and now vikings fans can watch the uncalled 'facemask' over and over all week!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Lucky, lucky, lucky................that's all I really have to say about that outcome.  LUCKY!!!     :o    But a win is a win.  Now in order to make the playoffs they have to win 2 of the next 3.  Raiders, Chargers, and then the Pack.  Still a tough schedule.  I am not sure if the 2011 Lions showed up today or the 2009 Lions showed up.  I guess the 2011 Lions showed because of the win.  If it was the 2009 Lions, it would have been another loss.  Still lucky.

Lots of people think fishing is just luck! I think the Lions will win all the rest of their games in a surprising, gutsy effort!

bigjc

Hey BD, I don't mean to gloat to early, but does this quote sound familar?

"If the Lions tank again this year, I will gloat till the cows come home.  But if they win, you can gloat till the cows come home.  And I'll man up and take it.  I actually hope you can be the guy that says, "BD, I told you so".  I hope you and bigjc are those guys.  I say they won't make 8 and 8.  The goal should be higher than that..........like..........make the playoffs.  I say:  Go Lions and good luck because that's what I think they'll need to make the playoffs.  If the Lions make the playoffs, I'll be eating more than my hat."

Now I am not suggesting that they are playoff material just yet, In fact I think they are probably not.  And if they sqeek into the playoffs, they will likely get creamed, but they have already pulled of (miraculously) 8 wins, and I would be money they will get at least one more.  Ok maybe not cash, but I would certainly be a fishing trip!
