Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Posting this for a friend: Storm 22 Bass Boat

2002 Storm 22 foot fiberglass/composite boat with 2002 Mercury 225 Optimax with low water pick up lower unit and Merc smart gages in dash. This boat is built in Florida as a saltwater boat - handles rough water, nothing on it can rust or rot (stormboats.com). 3 batteries/Minn Kota 73 lb thrust RipTide saltwater trolling motor/3 graph-GPS units/two rod lockers/two built in tackle boxes (holds 3 plano storage boxes each)/plenty of dry storage/built in cooler/livewell/baitwell/2 power poles/ 1 captain\'s chair/3 bank built in battery charger. The trailer is a drive-on/dual axle with brakes/made of I-beam aluminum with stainless steel fenders/SS wench/SS tongue-no rusting trailer after a few years of use.
