Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Went to TC for the weekend and brought the boat.  I really only fished twice.  The first day was only for 45 min.  I was using a tube for about 20 min with no results.  A tube is what I caught my fish on last year.  This year I didn't get a hit on one.  I only brought a  couple of rods with me and I had a green jig on.  On the first cast I felt the mighty bump, bump. I nice 3lber.  A few casts later a nice 2 1/2. That was about it for day one.  The next day I went out for about an hour. I only had one jig with me but it kept producing. It took about 20 min of floating around before I drifted across some nice weeds.  BAM!  Right around 4lbs. A few minutes later had one jump off right at the boat about the same size. I finally could see a few chasing my jig as I was fast reeling.  So the reaction bite was there.  I just couldn't put down my jig.  Until snap.  I finally made a mistake and snapped my only jig off. Crystal clear water and real light green smallies. In tourneys there should be some really nice weights.  Great fishery!

you should have some Old Jigger COpperhead Jigs to haul in the big ones

Three weeks ago in the NBAA overtime league it took 22lbs to win.  I was out there tonight and it was a mix between a few males left on beds and some post spawn cruisers.  Most of the easy to catch fish right now are in the 2.5 to 3 lb range.  West bay has been really hot the past couple weeks.  The spawn seems to hit east bay a little earlier than west.  Both bays generally take between 18 and 20 pounds to win during a 3hour tourney.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
