Wavespin Reel Picture Contest #1

This is the first of many WaveSpin Reel contests that we'll be holding on GreatLakesBass.com this year. This Wavespin Reel Picture Contest #1 starts immediately and runs for 6 weeks until July 25, 2011. As soon as contest 1 is over, we'll start a new contest 2 for the next 6 weeks.

This is your chance to show off your pictures and win a brand new WaveSpin Reel of your choice from any on their website.

How to Enter
Upload a picture to the GreatLakesBass.com Image Gallery starting today through July 24, 2011. You can upload to a generic category or to your personal MyGallery member picture gallery.¹

After you upload your new picture to the Image Gallery, copy the 'BB Medium Image Code' for that picture and come back here to paste the code into a post below within this contest thread stating that you are entering that picture into this WaveSpin Reel Contest #1. Don't start a new thread! Paste it into this post thread.

How to Win
The winner will be chosen for the picture entered in this thread that gets the most and highest average ratings in the picture gallery with most number of views being the tiebreaker. The 'BB Medium Image Code' will display your picture here and allow members to click the picture and go right to the image gallery location where they can look at, comment on and rate your picture. You will probably want to add to your post here some information about your picture and why members would want to go rate it to try to get as many ratings as you can.

Additional Information
Any member can rate a picture whether they are personally eligible to upload their own pictures or not. You can only rate any one picture one time. You cannot rate your own picture. You can also use other methods to ask members to visit your picture on the image gallery and rate it such as getting other people to join GreatLakesBass.com and have them go to your picture and rate it. Don't PM a bunch of members unsolicited to ask them but you can contact your friends on the forum and ask them to rate your picture. Send them to this thread and ask them to click on your picture to rate it. Ties not decided by the criteria above will be decided by the person who entered their picture in this contest thread first.

You can enter more than one picture. The earlier you enter, the higher you are in this thread and the more time you have to get rating. Members, please check out this thread and click on and rate pictures that you like. Your ratings are confidential.

The winner will visit the WaveSpin Reel website and tell me which reel they want. WaveSpin will ship the brand new free fishing reel to the winner! Simple and easy as that! Enter away and good luck!

I don't want to win the contest or anything (I already use a couple WaveSpin reels) but I want to get you shy anglers who don't want to show off started so here is my non-counting entry into contest #1 - a June 2011 Mullett Lake smallmouth bass who was nice enough to bite my lure!

Go to your gallery - the link above.

You can click the "Add a picture" link at the bottom to add another one.

Click on the picture you want and copy all of the text in the 'BB Medium Image Code' box. Start a new post here and paste all that text into the post. Done.

One of the boys is a video gamer who rarely gets outside, I actually got him to say: "if your going to go fishing in the morning, can you wake me up so I can go?"

Whoa!! That's the way to put on the pressure!! Thanks TCook. I think everyone is a little caught up in fishing. But, they do have to have something to do at work (sorry bosses) or in the evening... or during thunderstorms maybe.

If you want to have your own personal image gallery and you are eligible for the image gallery, go to Gallery | MyGallery and create a category in your gallery. Call it whatever you want. Then you can upload images to your own gallery too!

Please make sure to rate member's images when you're taking a look at them. And if you're in the contest, you can post links to you images wherever you want to ask members to check them out and rate them! Kind of like running for office! Do some politicking!
