Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Hi All,  It looks like we may have some rough weather for tomorrow's tournament.  We have had some questions about our procedures with inclement weather.

Our responsibility is first and foremost the safety of our anglers.  With most tournaments, this will be an on site decision.  Both Mike and I will be at the ramp no matter the weather conditions and will be monitoring weather the best we can.

But as a guideline for everyone, the following procedures will be used in case of inclement weather:

1. If bad weather is eminent prior to launch, we will delay the launch however long necessary up to a reasonable point...(not longer than a 2/3 hour delay maintaining the same end time of 2:30)...at which time it would be cancelled.

2. After the start of the tournament....it becomes the anglers discretion.  Get off the water if you feel endangered (until bad weather passes).  Weigh-in will remain at posted time.

3. If it is unfishable weather and we all have to get off the water with only a couple hours on the lake, we will have to make a call at that time whether to continue or cancel the event. (refunds would most likely be made if we had to cancel under these conditions).

I hope this helps.  If you have questions, please call us.  My cell is 586-291-6267 and Mike's is 586-201-3022.
