I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

anyone want to get a few boats together and fish somewhere? don't know where, but i got a free pass for sunday, any tournaments going on? or better yet any lakes that DON'T have a tourny that day? we got all week to come up with a plan or i'll just hit the water alone

djkimmel

I already have a date that day with the Godchildren. Sorry. Later in the day somewhere on the St. Clair River to be determined. Probably last minute depending on the whims of the weather... and the Godchildren!

Are you on the east side of the state?  I'm on the west side, and don't really have a tourney this weekend.

You should all come over to Lake Macatawa the GEM of the West-sides Shoreline!  Redwing don't you live like 2 miles from there?

thanks for the invite. i'm sure lake Macatawa is a fine lake, but i was thinking of something a little more local to the eastside of the state.

djkimmel

Isn't Macatawa kind of a brownish 'gem?'

BobO is connected to St. Clair so you could run from there back to the East Side.  And Dan it's more of a Greenish Hue Brown Dinge GEM; especially with the always beautiful algae bloom that has just broken up.  Up the Black Toilet River you can almost frog the entire water column because all the bloom got pushed out of the lake into the river - froggin' in 18feet open water is the new technique out there!!  :D

Yeah... but I can only frog for a couple hours without a strike before I get bored... ;D

It's probably not that bad. Maybe. Really. I've only been there twice. I caught a few bass.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I live 1 block from Mac, but told my buddy that I wouldn't fish due to him being in your regular circuit.  I showed him my hotspots so hopefully he does well.

Next season I'll probably do your entire west side circuit, providing I can find a boater that knows the west side lakes other than Mac.  Let me know if you know anyone that needs a partner next year, I know Mac well and pretty good on the Grand, but White and Muskegon I don't really fish too much.
