Anyone doing any practice fishing or fun fishing within an hour or so from Jackson this weekend?  I'd be more than happy to hang out on the back of the boat if anyone has room.

I'll be on St. Clair on Friday if the weather cooperates.  Too far?  If not, PM me.  I may have another guy as well, but my boat fishes 3 guys just fine.  You are welcome to join us.

Thanks for the replies guys!!  I just found out today I am going to be a boat owner!!  Going to have to forego the weekend activities and save my pennies for tax/title and all that fun stuff.

So I'll spend this weekend in day dream land biting my nails in anticipation.

That's an awesome reason to miss a weekend of fishing.  Congratulations!  What kind of boat are you getting?  Details, details.

The offer is open anytime you want to come fish St. Clair.

2000 Nitro only a 16footer with a 60 horse on it.  Red metallic with white.  MINT condition though, older gentleman single owner, sold due to health issues.  But it will suit my practice fishing needs for this year.  I'm going to fish the ABA out of the back of the boat until I get my skills back and hope to learn from the veterans.

Sounds sweet.  Congratulations!  Will you be fishing the ABA on St. Clair on the 20th?

I would like to but I will probably hold out on tournaments until June.  Money will be tight for another paycheck.  After June 2nd I'll be hitting full force.  Also I only have 1 rod/reel at the moment.  Long story, to make it short, while I was overseas I stored my gear at a buddy's house, his dog chewed about 3k worth of gear over a 2 year period.  So now I'm replacing everything and restocking.

I dont know why but he wouldnt let me pet his dog anymore after I got back.
