Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Why is there a 3 day off limits period before the tourney. What is this, the bassmaster classic?

You might draw more people if you let go of the cheesy off limits crap.

Just my two cents.

Hooksetter

What would it matter if there is an off limits period? The rules are the same for everybody. Why would that keep someone from entering the tournament? I'm just curious, it wouldn't make a difference to me.

Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Skulley

A lot of these local trails have off-limits periods.  The Tuesday night Belleville trail has off limits on the day of the tourney only.  NBAA is the same.  And what does it matter??  Maybe it's a confidence thing.  If you are not confident, then don't fish it.  There are plenty of trails out there to fish.  Take your pick.  But at the same time keep in mind that they all have off-limit periods and they are usually listed in their rules.

We started this off limits many years ago for our opens, which are mainly on small inland lakes.  We found that the catch ratio went up 100%, especially at the Halfmoon Chain, making for better competition and less wear on the fisheries.  We also have had very full fields.

Thanks for your comments and hope you can come experience a great tournament.

since this is usually a bed fishing event the fish are not as hammered by tourny day with the offlimits.  nothing like fishing in super clear water for bedding smallies.  great way to open the season.  looking forward to it.

The check will be in the mail soon
