Did quite a bit of that myself years ago. My experience was that you usually had to put the 1st one in a bucket and give it a name. Then the discussion about where it might live and did it miss it's buddies. Later of course, you turn it loose.
I loved every minute of it, think about it often. She's 24 now and off to grad school. But guess what? She still comes home to fish with Dad for a week every year.
Enjoy it, it's as good as it gets.
