I need to stop buying stuff for the boat and get Veronica and I some proper rain gear. This weather stinks. We've been looking forward to this day all winter, and now its going to rain too hard. Maybe we'll get out for a while.

I have a list of things to do so long I dont see the end.  But I did just enough to hopefully hit the softwater today.  That way I at least get my "fix" in.  Then I can get back to getting tourney ready again

Tight Lines!

This has just been one of those days.  My dad, who is lucky enough to get pneumonia every time the weather changes, didn't want to be out in the rain.  He came over at 6, and it didn't start raining until I hooked the boat to the truck.  So we sat around BSing, and watched a couple episodes of the World's Greatest Fishing Show.  At 9 we decided we were going.  Got right by Fisherman's Landing, and guess what, it started raining.  Came back home and dad left.  I was going fishing, so I threw on my rain gear and away I went.  Got on the water, and got too excited about being bit, and missed 2 fish.  Ran to one of my favorite spots, and got 1 on a worm, and got 1 on that jig that I stuck in my finger a week or so ago.  Finally got to stick it where it belongs.  That was the first fish I have ever caught on a jig.  Then I had to leave.  Kids both had soccer games at 2.  All in all, it wasn't bad.  Caught a couple anyways.  Hope you guys did better.

Today I just  fished off the shore at Kent,  did not want to get the boat wet just yet. Had a fun morning, caught 8 keepers and 2 dinks in under 2 hours in one spot. I downloaded the video with some of my best fish today, you can go to (Browse Videos) at the front page and check it out.

Hey! Great job on the videos.
Original song and lyrics by "MadWags"

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.
