Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just a reminder that the 2nd ROI Nemesis Baits Elite Series tournament is this Saturday, June 19 at John Selings Launch.

If you did not fish the first event at Lake Orion, and wish to qualify for the Championship, you must fish this event and the next 3 to qualify.

We will be having a post tournament meeting to discuss championship location and date.  As of right now, the original date for the championship is now a wild card tourmament.  we will announce the lake following the pontiac lake tournament.  You will only be eligible to fish the wild card tournament if you have fished 3 of our tournaments.

I apologize for any confusion.  there was a misunderstanding on my part prior to the season starting about whether or not ROI would be having a statewide championship involving all divisions.  As it turns out, we are not.  So we are having our own.

Just to give you an idea of what kind of payout we might have for our divisions classic, we already have $220 to the classic find after one tournament with 8 boats.  All membership money and the 10% held from each tournaments payouts are going into the classic fund.

So, there are 3 regular tournaments left, one wild card tournament which you can only fish if you have 3 in, and then our classic or championship.

The payouts are high and the lakes are good.  come fish with us and you will like what you see.

Bringing up an old topic. I am fishing the one on one same lake. Same day. Is there any way I can fish roi at the same time.   I'm concerned about weighin times, blast off times, and the "all fish must be released rule". I would need. To put them back in my livewell and go weigh them in again.  What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you
Frank

I dont think it will work out frank.  Im fine with you signing up for our tournament and weighin in with us first, but with us being a new club and being as small as we are, i dont think it would look good letting someone from another weigh in bring there fish over to us and weigh them for our tournament.  hope you understand.  just come fish with us for 90% payback.  problem solved :-*

If you are fishing the Oakland county One on One it is the 26th of June on Pontiac.  ROI was nice enough to move there date so there was no conflict.
