I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hey Guys!  I just found this web page, it is exactly what I have been looking for!

I lived in michigan for 2 years, and moved out 6 years ago.  I moved to upstate NY, lived there for 3 years, and then Oklahoma City for a while.  Now, I am back in Michigan!!  I work in Warren, and live in Wixom.

I will be fishing the BFL this year, and a few random opens as they come up.  Wife and I just had a baby girl, so that has slowed my fishing down a bit, but hopefully I can get out within the next few weeks and start poking some nice Erie fish.  I have lots of work to do for the BFL this year.  When I lived here before I did not spend much time on the big lakes and have never seen Burt or the Grand, I mostly fished the inland lakes and smaller club events.  I spent tons of time on Erie out of Buffalo when in NY, in fact I have a tx going out of Buffalo on May 6th....can't wait!

Hope to meet many of you at the BFL's or other events in the area!!

Welcome Seth.  Good group of fella's around here.

Wixom has some good lakes around it and if you have a rig, you need to haul it into work and afterwards head to the big pond.  I live in Warren, it's only about a 15/20 minute drive to St. Clair.

Welcome to the board SethV. Did you see the Michigan BFL section under Tournaments below yet? Some info there including a link to my report on our fall trip to Burt/Mullett in October 05 with pictures. That will give you an idea about the awesome bass fishing up there.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks all!

Dan,? I did see that page, sweet info!? Should be a blast!? My dad has fished the MI div BFL for a few years as a co-angler, I used him for my gaurantee this year.? I tried getting him to move up to a boater (he has a Ranger in the garage also) but decided to go no boat for another year.

Burt & Mullett look like a great place!? I have been debating which one to concentrate on.? I figgure I will be up there a few weekends in advance, I will just have to settle in on one and learn it.? It looks similar to the finger lakes in upstate NY.? Clear water, toad smallies....what could be better!!??!!

If anyone wants to ride along for prefishing, give me a holler! (esp if you know the lakes!!? ;D )

Seth:

welcome aboard - rally good group of guys, just be careful, you might learn something.  I'll be boating the BFL's as well, so if you want to prefish, give a hollar.
