I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently and he told me that Woodland Lakes Launch has a new look.  Apparently they have put big chunks of concrete where they were able to beach boats before tournaments.  Is this true???  Has anyone been out there???  May make a trip out there soon.  I have always caught fish there even when they went through their apparent LMBV problem back a few years ago.  Going to make having tournaments difficult out there without being able to beach.

I've been out there several times this year, last weekend was a little tough but fishing is still great there. When the chunk rock first appeared I was really angry since I was sure their notoriously unfriendly to fisherman lake assc. had done it. I called the DNR office and the officer in charge returned my call promptly. She told me that they had to do it since the shore was eroding quickly and the Assc. had nothing to do with it. It was something they have been working on for over 2 years. She reminded me that now the launch is just like at Whitmore and hopefully we can deal with it. The dock is long enough that I have been able to launch and tie up to the end on the same side with no problems when I am alone.

It is a real pain as there is no place at all to beach your boat now without beating it to death on the rock. Going to be real tough if you are doing a tx by yourself and have to launch and everything by yourself.
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing
