Had the same thing happen to me in the early 90's in the Federation.    Except I put the fear of being a "snitch" into this guy.   He kept telling me he was just kidding........I would tell him "I don't know if you were or not....I may have to report it".    Had him terrified the rest of the day and for a few weeks after the tournament.

I believe he learned his leson that day.     He still tournament fishes today....and is fairly popular & successful.

That is definitely one way to handle the situation that should never come up in a tournament in the first place.

Great job DK on putting these kinds of things into perspective.  Some people in the world live in their own little "fairy tale" and forget where they came from.  Again great job!!!!
